This group will do both pool and dryland practices. Each class will have a strength building warm-up and stretching to improve flexibility. Students will practice jumps, dives, and lineups off the poolside before attempting them off of the diving board. Developing balance, body awareness, and foundation skills for diving will be a fun and rewarding experience.
This practice is for all middle school age divers. Whether looking to try a new sport or continue skill development and refinement, the coaches here can help. The basics will be taught, reviewed and applied while we work on improving the execution of current skills and dives. We will also work on and develop new dives, techniques, and strength.
Our advanced practices are designed for older divers who compete only 1M for their local high schools. The goals for these divers are to learn the necessary dives to compete, gain better techniques, and learn new dives safely to increase their degree of difficulty.
